I replaced my 4th Gen Ipod battery with the Extended Life Upgrade battery. After connecting USB the battery icon displays indicating "very low battery" and it will not charge (no animation of battery icon). Even after leaving it connected for an extended period of time it will not charge. I have a support ticket submitted to Powerbookmedic but no response yet. Any ideas?

If you get this message, it means that either your battery needs to be charged before the iPod can be used or that the battery is not connected properly. Plug the iPod into the wall, and let the unit charge.( You can also leave it plugged into the USB port, but this will take much longer to charge up. ) If that doesn't work, go back into the ipod and check for crimped or improperly connected cables.
