i recently installed a wireless card in my powerbook G4, and a new battery... at first all was well but now the power light at the connection to the computer is turned orange and its heating the bottom face... it also turns red sometimes and green when its not fully inserted.
I know the correct light is green....
any one has any idea what's wrong with my machine?
i will be very happy to hear from you.

that is usually going to be a logic board problem, but I would start narrowing down the possibilties. Remove the wireless card, remove the battery, and see if it still continues.
