dead pismo

My Pismo was totaly dead. Note any sign of live. No lights and not even the batery was lightening up when pushing the button on it. The adaptor connection plug was not al all looking well, I replaced the AC/sound card by a tested one but still not sign of live :cry:

Now what can I do to bring it back to live???

Are you sure your power adapter is working? I just had to replace my YoYo, I went ahead and picked up the same type, anyway, when I was typing I saw the batt symbol flashing between the plug to 100, I’ve had no problem for 2 days now, this may not be your problem but I hope I’ve helped!

I have already replacd the adaptor but not any sign of liv is comming out of th Pismo, The battery is not showing any lights

It really could be anything: CPU, Logic Board, or AC/Sound Board.

Sound board is cheapest to replace.

You could test yours with a multi meter if you remove it.

Anyone have the info on how to test the AC/Sound board with a multimeter?

Having completely torn my pismo down and re-built it, I'd like to be able to test components before re-building.

I'd also love to know what I am supposed to get out of the PRAM.

Have you tried remouving the PRAM completely and then restarting the Pismo?

It worked like a charm for me.
