Pismo DC humming, not charging

I seem to have a non-charging Pismo. It works on DC, but doesn't charge anymore. After e few seconds it slowly starts humming. Is this the power manager board or the sound / AC Power in board to be replaced? Can the latter be ordered again from you?

I had a similar problem. I share a bunch of AC adapters between a 1400c and Pismo 500. One of the old bricks for the 1400 works fine with the 1400 but causes the Pismo to hum. Swapping the adapters makes the problem go away. The humming adapter does not hum when connected to the Pismo. Go figure. Good thing I have about 6 adapters.
