I seem to be having a common problem i've read as described:
No bootup, black screen, no bootup sound; but the CPU or hard disk is still making whispered running noise, the caps-lock and num-lock lights work and the battery charges OK.
this is with the 500Mhz G4 pismo upgrade supplied by powerbookmedic.
with the 400Mhz G3 original processor the pismo operates fine.
