My Pismo is very fussy about the angle of the charger plug. To get a defininite overnight charge, I need to have a (horizontal) CD case tucked under the inserted plug, forcing it upwards very slightly, or no connection is made and no charge happens. This is gradually getting worse, and a borderline connection is often accompanied by a soft whining sound which stops when the plug is wiggled slightly.
I use the machine with 2 different Apple "yoyo" chargers. One seems to fit the Pismo's socket a lot better than the other, which is really tight and worries me, although it works.
Questions:
I probably need an AC/Sound board, right?
...and how many fractionally different sizes of "standard" charger socket did Apple use on the Pismo?
Best;
Mark
