Hi. I need help to figure out what's wrong with my pismo.
Recently, I exhausted my batteries completely during this black out caused by Isabelle.....
When I got back the power, I tried to turn on my powerbook using ac adapter and as soon as the powerbook finished booting, it went to a deep sleeping and I couldn't awake it unless I reboot it.
Finally I found out that when there is no batteries in the battey bay, my powerbook works fine. No sleeping..... But when I insert my uncharged batteries (one apple original and another from BTI) to charge them, my powerbook refuses to charge them and goes to sleeping again.....
Is this a battery problem or something else like PMU board? I couldn't check my batteries with other powerbook but both batteries worked really fine a week ago.
I will appreciate any comments.

Interesting problem. Is is most likely a problem with your PMU (Power / Charger) Board. It could also possibly be your batteries, but from your description I'd start with the board.
