 Post subject: Kick-starting dead battery????
PostPosted: Tue Sep 16, 2003 10:24 am
I was given a pismo battery that just refuses to charge. It is supposedly almost unused and have been gathering dust in a drawer for several years. When using the external VST charger bought from here it charges until the first green led starts to blink and then the charger says that the battery is fully charged.

I do not have a working Pismo to test it in yet.

Ooops, forgot the question

Is there any way to get it working again? Would putting it into a Pismo work?

Tommy,

It's a dead battery. Unforunately there is nothing you can do except buy a new battery.

OK, thanks for the answer. I thought it was dead too, but wanted a second opinion.

The battery have been inside a unused Pismo for over two years, can this kill a battery?

Batteries that are not used often die.
