i bought a g-3 pismo off e-bay, it was missing optical drive , battery, and power adaptor. i had all of that from my other g-3 that i use for parts.
now my battery was working, but when i put it in and pluged in the power adaptor i didn't get a light on the power adaptor and it shows only 56% in the bar. i have left it for several hours pluged in and still no change. how can i check to see if the power board is working? i don't have another battery to put in to check that way. or is there a way to check the battery to see if it is not holding a charge and that i might need a new battery?? about ready to pull what little hair i have left out of my head.
any help will be apreciated

If the charger isn't glowing, you're either going to have a problem with your adapter or Sound / AC board. The easiest thing to test is the adapter. If you are sure that works, then the internal board is the culprit.
