upgrades?

I have a g3 pismo with a 20 GB hard drive and 512 mb ram processor speed 500 mhz. It is about 5-6 years old, I am currently running 10.4.7. Do you think that there is anything I could do to upgrade my machine or should I look into another machine? Will incrfeasing my hard drive help with the current bus speed?

A new hard drive will not help with the bus speed, more ram will help, I’m running 2 512 chips and that alone helped a lot! At this time I don’t think it is using my hard drive for temporary memory, if you do upgrade the hard drive check to see if it will work on the plsmo, I’m running a 60 Gig toshiba bought from OWC, at first I purchased a 80 Gig but it never worked right in the pismo and yet it works great in a FireWire/USB encloser so I use it for back-ups. Good luck, I personally like my pismo more than my G4 1.67 powerbook!
