- This is a replacement superdrive for the Intel iMac with the newer SATA connection. (Picture is of Matshita drive, drive may be either Matshita or Pioneer depending on inventory.)
Note that this drive uses a SATA Bus and NOT an ATA bus. You need to check your bus type before placing an order to verify you order the correct drive as iMacs used both SATA and PATA versions of the optical drives.
